welp, i apologize in advance to my readers with little patience and/or slow internet connections… this is a long one :)
gosh, where to start? jenny & johnny’s wedding was nothing short of ridiculous. every detail was artfully, creatively planned and a perfect reflection of who they are as a couple. jenny & johnny are artists, creators, designers, and people who daily make the world a better place. they are stylish, creative, laid back, and fun. they have a community surrounding them who loves them dearly, and they are a perfect fit together. their wedding was chill and fun and so unique. from jenny’s vintage dresses, to the awesome location, to the ring ninja… ok ok now i’m gushing. but just take a look and you will probably agree… you have never seen a wedding quite like this!!!

um. love her shoes.

and her vintage dress! RAD.

they painted, cemented, and ribboned up a bunch of huge tree branches to create a barrier around rosa parks circle, a public space in the heart of downtown grand rapids.

guests signed an original piece of art, profiles of the couple created by johnny.

they have awesome hair. awesome.

one of my favorite elements of the wedding was that their vows were written on the spot by guests in attendance. guests shouted out different important elements of a marriage, which were then woven together into the promises they made to each other. it was awesome… genuine… real.

um, did i mention that they had a ring NINJA?!? does it get any more awesome?

the flower girl wore a beautiful fairy dress from etsy.

boogie dynamite got the party started with some funky tunes from the 70′s & 80′s.
